Beauty Shopping Haul

I popped out to buy a couple of items and bought more than I planned to, as usual. Here’s what I got in my latest shopping haul.

Clinique Chubby Stick Cheek Colour in Amp’d Up Apple

Since my favourite (limited edition) blush ran out last year, I’ve been using various blushers and bronzers already in my collection. I finally decided to treat myself to a new blush, so I bought one of Clinique’s Chubby Sticks for cheeks. The shade I got is Amp’d Up Apple, which swatches brown but applies to cheeks as a pretty pink. Once I’ve tried this product more, I’ll be doing a full post about it.

Max Factor Lip Liner in Pink Petal

As I’ve starting experimenting more with lip colours, I decided to invest in a new lip liner. Pink Petal is a nude pink that will work well under most of the lip colours I own, and is a flattering shade for my fair skin tone.

Lanolips Lemonaid Lip Aid

I’m not going to say much about this product as I mention it all the time, but Lanolips is my absolute favourite lip balm. It smells and tastes great and really does stop my lips from feeling dry and flaky. I didn’t bulk buy like I usually do as there’s no special offers on, but this is a great product to have in any beauty collection.

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge

I know there’s always a lot of debate about which makeup sponge is better, the Beauty Blender or Real Technique’s, so I decided it was time to have at least one in my collection. I don’t use liquid foundations, so I bought the sponge to blend in my concealer, cream blushers and bronzers. Real Technique’s sponge is the cheaper of the two, which is why I decided to purchase this one first, and if I like it I may give the ever popular Beauty Blender a try.

Clarisonic Delicate Brush Head Pack

I was in need of some new brush heads for my beloved Clarisonic, but at £35 for two they don’t come cheap! I usually buy the sensitive brushes, but as they were sold out I’ll be trying delicate this time, which feels almost the same.

B. Makeup Brush Cleansing Wipes

I have to admit that I don’t clean my makeup brushes anywhere near enough, probably due to my current brush cleaner not being great. So I decided to purchase these cleansing wipes to see if they could get my brushes cleaner. I haven’t tested them yet, but I’ll be writing a review in the future.

Orly Polish Bond and Orly Chip Guard

My nail polish never seems to last more than a day before chipping, so I’ve bought two of Orly’s products to see if they can change this. The Polish Bond is a basecoat and the Chip Guard is a topcoat. I’ll be posting a review once I’ve tried these to let you know if they work.

Boots Nail Polish Remover

Not much needs to be said about this, other than nail polish remover is an item that I always need in my beauty stash.

Let me know if you’ve tried any of these products.
