A Very Big Shopping Haul Pt.1

A few weeks ago I ordered some bits from the Body Shop and Boots and was preparing to write a mini haul. Well that went out the window as I ordered several more times online, as well as going shopping and I’ve now ended up with a pretty huge haul. So here’s what I got!

image

The Superdrug Haul

So the main things I wanted from Superdrug was Zoella’s new beauty range and some more Kylie Jenner nail polishes, but of course I also picked up a few more items.

Zoella Sweet Inspirations Body Fondant

image

image

I’m fairly new to the Zoella bandwagon and I’ve never tried any of her previous ranges, but when I saw her promoting the new Sweet Inspirations range, I knew I had to try it.

The first item I got is the Body Fondant Shimmer Balm. Once you twist open the cardboard packaging, there’s a solid peachy gold shimmer balm inside, that you apply with the Zoella embossed powder puff. I think this sweetly scented balm is perfect for adding a pretty shimmer to skin, especially in summertime when this will look great with a tan. The packaging is also incredibly lightweight, so this is ideal to take away with you.

Zoella Sweet Inspirations Sugar Dip

image

image

Sugar Dip like all of the Sweet Inspirations range comes in pretty pastel coloured packaging and I love the triangular shaped box it comes in. You lift off the lid and inside is what looks like a packet of sweets, which contains the scented bath granules. You pop these in the bath and they melt away to leave a sweet scent. Zoella’s also included a sticker in the box to reseal the bag of bath granules, which I think is a nice touch.

Zoella Sweet Inspirations Bath Latte

image

The Bath Latte is a Bath & Shower Milk that has a sweet almond, cacao and honey scent. It can be used as a creamy bubble bath or as a body wash, so it’s a great multi-purpose product. It’s housed in a milk style bottle, with pretty 1920’s fan style decoration covering it.

Zoella Sweet Inspirations Candy Clutch Beauty Bag

image

image

The final item I got from Zoella’s range is this gorgeous clutch bag. It’s made up of two different fabrics, where the front is pink and white striped and the back is a white patented shiny material. It folds over with an internal magnetic clip or if you need more room you simply don’t fold the bag over. As I carry an awful lot of stuff I won’t be using this as a clutch bag, but instead will be using this to store all my beauty bits in for when I travel.

Tanya Burr Cosmetics Galaxy Eye Palette

image

image

Another product from a YouTuber! Tanya Burr is a popular blogger who like Zoella, has her own range of products. I have to admit I don’t really watch Tanya’s videos, nor did I set out to buy any of her makeup collection, but this eyeshadow palette is affordable and pretty.

In this very lightweight box, there’s a cute heart shaped mirror and four eyeshadows which have a pretty star design on them. I think this is a nice set to take away as the colours are very wearable and despite the mirror being small, it’s useful for on the go. On the back of the box there’s also some handy tips on where to apply each of the four eyeshadow shades.

SinfulColors King Kylie Collection Nail Polishes

image

A month or so ago I stumbled across SinfulColor’s nail polishes for the first time in Superdrug. Kylie Jenner has recently teamed up with them to release her own series of collections and I was really impressed by the shade Kryptonite which I tried. As I loved this nail polish so much, I purchased four more shades from the King Kylie collection.

I got Minty Fresh, which is a mint green shade and one I’m really excited to try out and Miss Chief, which is a light pink with lilac undertones. The last two shades are Koko-Nuts, which is a pearly white and Kommando, which is a peachy nude colour.

SinfulColors Kylie Jenner Trend Matters Nail Polishes

image

Kylie Jenner’s second collection with SinfulColor’s has just recently been released. The collection is called Trend Matters and the nail polishes have a variety of different finishes. The first shade I got is called Kurtsey, which is a blue with lilac tones and has a demi-matte finish. The second shade is V.I.Peach, which as the name says is a pretty peach shade with a shimmer matte finish.

Palmolive Chocolate Passion Shower Cream

image

I won’t say too much about this body wash as I’ve mentioned it a few times before, but it feels really rich and creamy, as well as having a gorgeous chocolatey scent. I picked this up as it was on special offer.

Plastic Cream Jars

image

In recent posts I’ve mentioned I’m trying to decant my face creams into smaller jars for when I travel, as I always take far too much stuff away with me. I’ll be using these to store my day and night face creams in.

The Kiko Haul

Kiko Power Pro Nail Lacquer in shade 40 Black

image

I love a dark vampy nail, yet I didn’t have any black nail polishes in my collection. As I’ve heard so many great things about Kiko’s polishes, I decided to give this one a try. I’ll use this polish on it’s own and also with sheer glitter on top for a more fun look.

Kiko Matte Effect Top Coat

image

I’ve still not tried a matte nail polish, so when I saw this top coat I knew I had to buy it. This is a great way of changing the look of some of my regular nail polishes by giving them a different finish.

The Asda Haul

Dolly’s Mixtures Shower Gels in Fizzy Cherry and Pina Colada

image

Dolly’s Mixtures is an affordable range sold in Asda and I absolutely love their shower gels. I got the Fizzy Cherry one, which smells just like sweets and also the Pina Colada shower gel, which has a really fresh pineapple scent and smells just like the cocktail.

nspa Professional Peeling Mask

image

Nspa is another brand sold in Asda and as I like their shower gels and other products, I decided to purchase one of their face masks. I got this peel off one which is meant to help remove dead skin, tone and also draw out any impurities.

The Tesco Haul

Imperial Leather Uplifting Sherbet Lemon and Mouthwatering Fruit Salad Shower Creams

image

As you may have noticed, I’ve been on a bit of a shower gel spree and these quirky shower gels caught my eye. They smell absolutely gorgeous, just like Sherbet Lemon and Fruit Salad sweets, so I think these will definitely make shower time more fun for me.

New Look Black Skinny Jeans

image

Apologies for the rather awful photo, but I found it impossible to take a good picture of these jeans. Like many people I find it a nightmare to find good fitting jeans and whilst New Look’s still aren’t perfect, I find that theirs fit me best. As well as being a better fit, they’re also affordable and good quality.

Primark

image

I went into Primark to look for some sandals as the weather is warming up, but instead I picked up a couple of jewellery items.

8 Pack of Beaded and String Bracelets

image

In the summer I tend to go for simple and light jewellery if I wear any and I like slightly boho or festival style items. I picked up these pretty string and beaded bracelets as I think they have a nice beach and festival look, plus as they only cost £2, I won’t be too disappointed if I lose or ruin them.

Imitation Septum Ring Jewellery

image

A bit of a random purchase, but it’s a great way to change up my look with no permanent commitment. I think these septum rings will be fun to use for the days when I want a more edgy, playful or unique look.

Accessorize Socks

image

I love wearing cute and quirky socks, so I picked up this adorable cat pair in Accessorize.

Holland and Barrett Freedom Vegetarian Vanilla Mallows

image

The main reason I pop into Holland and Barrett’s is to pick up vegetarian and vegan friendly marshmallows. Not only do they taste delicious, but they’re also suitable for those who can’t have gluten, eggs, dairy and nuts.

So that’s the first part of my shopping haul. In the second part they’ll be beauty bits from Boots and Debenhams, goodies from the Body Shop, as well as some clothes.

  1. The Zoella stuff look so girly and cute! Nice attention to the packaging too!
I’ve been eyeing those Sinful Colors polishes, there are a couple shades I like – just waiting for a sale!
I still find it funny that Palmolive sells bath products in the UK. Here, it’s strictly dish washing liquid.
The Imperial Leather shower creams look good enough to EAT! 😛
Are the Kiko polishes really inexpensive?
    Amazing haul!

    1. It’s really girly and cute. The packaging and products looked too pretty to resist☺ I’ve been really impressed by Sinful Colors, especially as they’re so affordable. Haha funny you say that as my friend fron the US said what do you mean you use Palmolive shower gels, it’s all dish washing liquid. Over here all the products they seem to sell are shower gels.
I know they smell sooo good. All the shower gels smell good enough to eat☺ The Kiko nail polish is around £5 here, so it’s pretty cheap. Thank you x

      1. Hopefully you’ll get a Kiko there, as they only opened stores here this year. They seem to be expanding quite quick. I think Barry M is just the UK, which is a shame. Their nail polishes are great x

      2. It’s only been out in the UK a couple of months and only in Superdrug. Not the full range either, so you still cherish your one haha☺ x
