February Favourites

February was a really fun and busy month that flew by. I celebrated Valentine’s Day with my partner and enjoyed a fantastic break away. So here’s a look at my February Favourites.

Valentine’s Day

As I mentioned in my last post, me and my partner had a quiet but lovely night in together as we was going away the next day. We had dinner together, exchanged gifts and got super excited about going away.

Heat Activated Mug

One of my Valentine’s presents was this heat activated mug. Once it heats up, a picture of the Northern Lights appears. As we was going to Iceland to see them, I found this a really sweet gift and it means even more now that we’ve seen the Northern Lights.

Holiday to Iceland

Just after Valentine’s Day, we went to Iceland! We had an amazing time at the Blue Lagoon, seeing the capital Reykjavik, going on tours and we also got to see the Northern Lights on our very first night there. Iceland has been one of our favourite holidays and we’d love to go back.

White Ski Outfit

Before going away, me and my partner bought loads of warm thermals and ski type clothing as Iceland’s weather can be unpredictable. I particularly loved my all white outfit.

The hat was a present from Birmingham’s Christmas Market and the jacket and boots were from ski and sports shops.

Tarte Tarteist Lash Paint Mascara

This is the first Tarte product I’ve ever tried and I love it! It gives amazing separation with no clumping, making this quick and easy to apply and also gives great length.

So that’s my February Favourites complete. Let me know what you’ve been loving lately.

  1. That mug is so neat! I’m jealous you got to see the Northern Lights. We went to Iceland around October time frame and we didn’t see anything.
Did you put the mug on your face at the Blue Lagoon? Hehe.
How cute are those winter boots?! You look like you’re ready for a ski trip… or at least having some hot cocoa by a fire place!

    1. I love the mug. Such a great gift as we got to see them. That’s a shame. I think Jan, Feb and March are the best months for seeing them but really it’s luck! I did. We got two face masks as we paid for a certain package. The masks worked wonders, my skin was the softest it’s ever felt☺ I love the ski boots. So comfy and warm to wear! If I ever go skiing, I’m prepared haha x

  2. Oh wow, Iceland looks amazing! Reykjavik has been a city that I’ve been wanting to visit for quite some time now. How amazing that you guys were able to see the Northern Lights, that must’ve been quite a sight to see. I’m obsessed with that mug though, how cool is that!!!!
