The Ultimate Indulgent Easter Dessert

Every year I say that I’ll make delicious Creme Egg Brownies and this year I finally did! Except I went one better as I found an amazing recipe here.

The Ingredients

Betty Crocker Chocolate Fudge Brownie Mix

Two packs of Betty Crocker Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix

Original Oreos

Cadbury Creme Eggs

One Free Range Egg

Vegetable Oil

The first thing to do, is to pour both packets of the cookie mix into a bowl and add water. Rosie recommends 5 tablespoons of water, whereas I found mine needed double that amount or the cookie mixture stayed too dry.

Once it’s mixed up, apply into a baking tray that’s lined with greaseproof paper.

Place Oreos on top.

And then get making the brownie mix. I used one medium egg, 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil and 7 tablespoons of water and whisked until smooth.

Pour on top of the Oreos and cookie mix.

Then cook in the oven on Gas Mark 4/ 350F, 180C for 45 minutes. Add the Creme Eggs towards the end so they become gooey not chewy.

Then take out the oven and enjoy. I usually like my brownies straight from the oven and warm, but this is just as delicious cold.

Let me know if you’ve baked any Easter treats this year.

  1. Oh my gosh! 😱 That is so ultimate!!! I’m surprised there are no marshmallow Peep in addition to the Cadbury Creme eggs! (Do you have Peeps there?)
I just bought some Lindt chocolate bunnies, and I tried to find some Cadbury Creme eggs for the SO because he loves them but they’re sold out already! I’ll try another store tomorrow…
