December Favourites

A bit of a belated favourites post again, as December was a super busy month for me, but also one that yielded a whole load of new favourites. So here’s a look at what I loved last month.

Beauty Advent Calendars

I had three wonderful beauty calendars to open (as well as a chocolate one) in which I received so many new and exciting products that I can’t wait to start using.

Holiday to Lapland

Right at the start of December, I went on holiday to Lapland and it was amazing! We went for snowy walks, did husky and reindeer rides and even saw Santa. It was the perfect place to visit before Christmas as it felt magical.

A Weekend in Birmingham

In the middle of the month, we spent a weekend in the UK’s second largest city, Birmingham. We visited the Christmas Markets, Cadbury World and ate out loads, as the city has a good food scene.

Balance Me Flash Cleanse Micellar Water

Usually I’m not a micellar water fan, but I’ve been really impressed by this Balance Me one. It’s non-drying, removes makeup with ease and most importantly, doesn’t sting my eyes.

Lush Revelations Bath Oil

Revelations is great as not only does it leave my skin feeling soft and hydrated after a bath, but the fresh scent lasts on my skin for ages. I’ve stocked up on these.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush in Tipsy

Last year fellow blogger Stashy sent me loads of beauty goodies, including this blusher. Not only is the colour gorgeous, but it lasts no matter the weather. I wore this everyday in freezing conditions in Lapland and it still looked perfect.

Collistar Extraordinary Duo Lipstick in Sophisticated

I originally bought this lipstick in Milan last year, but somehow lost it before I ever got to try it. Thoughtfully my partner re-purchased it for my birthday and I’m glad as it’s beautiful. Depending on how you apply it, it can be two toned or just one shade. It’s long wearing and I love it.

Tanya Burr Eye Glitters

I’m a big fan of all things sparkly and glittery and I’ve been loving Tanya Burr’s Eye Glitters. My two favourite shades are Let It Snow and Champagne Sparkle.

Oliver Bonas Moon Beaded Shimmer Hair Clip

I don’t usually wear hair clips, but I ordered this half moon one as it was too pretty to resist! I’ve been wearing it loads the past month.

Also apologies for using the same photo twice in one post, but it’s the only one that shows off the hair clip properly.

Christmas in the New Forest

I went away for a week at Christmas time with my partner and my family. The New Forest is one of our favourite places to stay in the UK, as it’s so peaceful and beautiful.

We had a lovely week with days out, good food and lots of walks through the forest.

New Year’s Eve

Me and my partner like a chilled New Year’s Eve. We had a fun night, where we went out for food, played bowling and then had drinks at his.

Let me know what you’ve been loving lately.

    1. Aaw thank you. It was an awesome month!😊 We was there three nights but it flew by. We’re heading back for five more nights. It depends. If you do huskies and reindeers that’s a day, Ranua Artic Zoo is a day, there’s museums, Santa Park and Village. The Village is super pretty and worth visiting. Then there’s snowmobiling and other ice activities, northern lights. I could easily do a week, but 4/5 nights is enough to fit a lot in😊 x
