Vegan Nights Food Market (April Event)

Back in February, I wrote about the Vegan Nights food market in London. It’s a monthly, ticketed event with lots of amazing vegan food, a bar and DJs.

Since then, me and my partner have been to the March and now April nights.

So here’s a look at the last event in early April:

Our first stall of the night was Vegan Delice.

Somehow on previous visits we missed find this stall, so I was excited to try some hot, sugary doughnuts covered in banana and caramel sauce.

The taste was good, however due to the shape of the doughnuts they was a bit heavy and doughy. If they’d added some jam inside these, they could have been amazing rather than good!

Our second food stop of the night, was at Arancini Brothers.

In March we tried the risotto balls from here, as they’d run out of burgers. Well the burger was worth the wait!

All of the patties are made of mushroom risotto, the only difference is the sauces and extras. We had the Mickey, which had ketchup, mustard, pickles and we added cheese.

It was delicious and my foodie highlight of the night.

As well as food stalls, there was other stands selling clothes and beauty products. NINI Organics in particular caught my eye, as they sell homemade bath salts and milks, face masks and more.

My purchase.

The products are a bit more pricey as it’s a small scale business owned by a brother and sister, but the products are lovely and both Alex and Nicole are passionate about what they do.

After browsing beauty, it was back to food.

We returned to Pig Out, a hotdog stand we tried on our first visit at Vegan Nights and it was as good as I remembered.

Before eating at our final place of the night, Mooshies.

Mooshies have a restaurant about a minute away from where Vegan Nights is held, but it was great to see them there.

We shared a What’s Your Beef? burger, which we’d tried before in Mooshies restaurant.

I really like this burger but it’s so messy to eat, so I see it as more of a sit-in and eat option at the restaurant.

Before leaving we bought some cupcakes from Cupcakes and Shhht to take home.

I later tried a vanilla, lemon and coconut one and it was super fresh and soft. It had a slight hint of spice due to the tumeric in the cake, so it was unusual.

Let me know if you’ve been Vegan Nights or what food events you love.

  1. Hmm the mushroom risotto burger patties sound delicious! I’ve never had veggies patties like that before, only a full mushroom, or soy, or mashed up veggies made into burger patties. Just last week I had a portobello mushroom stuffed with cheese as my burger “patty” and it was so good.
This event must be popular enough for them to host it monthly!

    1. The risotto burger was amazing! I was tempted to go back for a second haha😊 A lot of burgers are mashed veggies, mushrooms etc. I love all veggie burgers really. There’s a few cool places that have fried jackfruit patties, quinoa and black beans that I’ve tried recently too. That portobello with cheese sounds so good😊 It is! It used to be a free event, but it was packed. It’s now £5 to enter, but they’ve had to spread the event into 3 buildings now as it’s so busy☺ x

  2. I need to try the Mickey burger if not just for the name, haha. I really want to go to one of these events some day! I’d love to try more vegan food. I think it’s cool that they also sell clothes and beauty products too! x
