Exploring London & A Movie Night on the River Thames

Last weekend me and my partner drove into London for a day out. Despite living in the city, we still like to be tourists taking photos of street art and famous sights. So here’s a look at what we got up to.

We started by driving to Brick Lane, which is one of our favourite parts of London.

We admired the street art.

Before walking to nearby Boxpark in Shoreditch.

We ate at CookDaily which does amazing vegan food.

I had the noodle bowl with vegan chicken and spring rolls, whilst my partner had the sweet and sour rice bowl.

Full up, we walked back to the car and headed to Tower Hill.

We’d booked a Movies on the River event, which takes you on a thirty minute tour of London along the Thames before you watch a movie on the boat.

St Paul’s Cathedral.

The London Eye.

The Shard.

Then it was time to watch The Greatest Showman!

The boat parked up in front of the scenic Tower Bridge and the Shard, whilst we enjoyed the movie. I’d definitely recommend and do another Movies on the River event myself.

After a super fun day, it was time to head home.

Movies on the River runs until September 8th.

    1. Haha yes! It must be you making me fancy spring rolls😂😊 It is. They show one movie a day as it’s an evening event. You do the boat cruise until after 9pm, then the films finish after 11pm😊 x
