January Favourites

January was more of a foodie month than anything, but as always I have some new favourites. So here’s a look at what I loved in January.

All The Vegan Foods

January is the month of Veganuary, where many people give up animal products for the month. Veganuary also means lots of amazing food releases (some limited for the month of January only), so I tried a lot of new foods.

Greggs released their vegan sausage roll (permanent item).

I tried the Jack ‘n’ Cheese and Vegan Veggie pizzas at Pizza Hut. (The Jack ‘n’ Cheese will now be a permanent item on the menu after selling well!)

I tried a vegan gyros box from The Athenian (permanent menu item).

And much more.

Spa Day & Day Out in Brighton

For Christmas my partner booked me a spa day at the Phoenix Eco Spa which is one of my favourites. It’s a peaceful; relaxing space, the treatments are amazing and the products used are cruelty free and eco-friendly.

We also spent time along the seafront and had some lovely food.

Vegan Nights Event, London

At the end of the month, a Vegan Nights event was on. We had cake from our friends at Vida Bakery, Filipino noodles from Oh My Gulay! And tried dumplings from Phung Kay. All delicious.

A Catch Up and Drinks With My Cousin at the London Cocktail Club

I don’t get to see my cousin as much as I’d like, so it was lovely to have an evening out and a girly catch up. We had cocktails at the London Cocktail Club, which I’d highly recommend.

Mark & Scribe Large Cosmetic Case

For Christmas my partner got me this gorgeous cosmetic case from Mark & Scribe. It has multiple layers of storage for skincare, makeup and brushes and is embossed with my initials. I’ve used it loads so far, as it helps store my products neatly and soon I’ll be using it for a week away.

Lonely Planet’s Best in Travel 2019

I get the latest Lonely Planet Best in Travel book each Christmas and I really enjoyed this year’s edition. There was lots of great travel ideas and upcoming events in 2019 that have inspired me.

So that’s my January favourites. Let me know what you’ve been loving lately.
