As the UK’s been in lockdown for quite some time, we knew Valentine’s Day would be different this year. But despite no holidays, days out or restaurants, we had a lovely day. So here’s what we got upto.
After a leisurely breakfast we exchanged gifts and I was well and truly spoilt (more on that later).

After a relaxing start to the day enjoying our presents, we got ready for the day.
And prepared a snacky lunch! We’d been picking at cakes and desserts all morning so neither of us was massively hungry, but we’d ordered the most gorgeous box of cakes from Cielo Cakery.
Their sweet treats never disappoint.
Feeling full, we watched TV, read our books together on the sofa and played a couples quiz card game my partner bought.
Before we knew it, it was evening and time for dinner! We opted for a meal deal from a shop as neither of us wanted a takeaway for Valentine’s.
We had vegan chorizo palmier.
Leek and mushroom pasta with spiced peas & edamame beans.
Rounded off with a chocolate pudding and vegan cream.
Perfect!

Hehe agree! We ordered a lovely cake box and this other box I ordered ages ago turned up at the same time! So we have eaten a lot of cake😂 It is such a lovely quality set! They are gorgeous. Really happy with all the makeup😊 x

I LOVE how you made the most out of your Valentine’s Day! And it sounds absolutely perfect to me! You guys are seriously the cutest! All the food sounds so yummy! And I hope you love the Duke and I!
