Gifts I Love (Beauty)

In my previous two blogs I revealed my favourite bath and food gifts I received and now it’s time for beauty. Here’s a small selection of my favourite beauty gifts.

Bobbi Brown Deluxe Eye & Cheek Palette
image At Christmas time, some of the nicest eyeshadow and make up palettes come out. This set is wonderful as it has six wearable eyeshadow shades and two blushers. The shades in this set are great for creating nude and smokey eyes and three shades are gorgeously shimmery. The blush shades are also fantastic for all skin tones, so I can see myself getting plenty of use out of this set. Be quick though as this set is a Christmas special.

Urban Decay Glitter Eyeliner

Urban Decay sells the best glitter eyeliners and I’ve just got back into wearing them. I love the Midnight Cowboy shade but all the colours are just as beautiful and striking. These eyeliners have plenty of colour and glitter in, so they stand out unlike a lot of wishy washy glitters out there. They also stay put so no need to reapply throughout the day.

Above is the shade I’m currently using called Midnight Cowboy, which is a gorgeous shade of gold.

NYX The Curve Eyeliner
I’ve been meaning to buy this for quite some time, so I was delighted to get this as a present. It looks a bit unusual, but this felt tip eyeliner looks this way for a reason. The design means it’s easier to create smoother, cleaner lines and a more perfect cat eye.

Maxfactor and Essie

The high street has some brilliant nude and pink toned eye palettes out at the moment and this one by Maxfactor is one of my favourites. With eight gorgeous shades, this palette has colours for everyday use and you can create many looks with this for under Β£12.

I love the Maxfactor gift set in this picture. It’s free if you spend a certain amount on Maxfactor products or you can buy these sets individually in Boots. These make nice gifts or stocking fillers for yourself or others.

I’m a big fan of these nailpolishes. Essie has a good range of colours that wears well. This pretty set has two gorgeous colours that can be worn together or on there own, a pretty nude pink and a delicate pink glitter. The nude pink shade is great for everyday wear, whilst layered with the pink glitter would make a nice look for new year.

So that’s my round up of my favourite beauty gifts I received this Christmas. In the coming weeks I’ll be reviewing all these make up products and more so keep a look out for my upcoming beauty posts.
