It’s fast approaching the end of the year and the end of this year’s resolutions. So here’s a look at how I got on in November.
1-Start to exercise more
November was a month where I didn’t exercise at all! I had good intentions, but as well as being super busy, any spare minute I had was used for planning upcoming holidays and other bits. I’m hopeful I’ll fit in some exercise this month.
2-Eat Healthier
November didn’t start particularly healthy, as it looked a lot like this…
But towards the end of the month, I spent more time cooking and eating at home.
3-Read one book per month
Eek! I didn’t read one book throughout November. I read magazines and I started a few books, but then forgot about them. Around Christmas, I hope to catch up on some reading.
4-Watch 50 films with my partner
Finally, a resolution I kept to! In November we watched two films.
-Sex and the City The Movie (DVD)
-Spike Island (TV)
5-Get into a better sleeping pattern
November was a poor month sleep wise. Being busy and finishing work late a fair few times, meant a lack of sleep. It’s something I still need to work on.
6-Do 2 new things per month
Done!
Early November I watched WWE Live at Wembley Arena. It’s the first time I’ve been to see wrestling.
And secondly, I finally got around to trying out Wagamama’s vegan menu.
7-Visit three new places (Country, City, Town or Village)
No new places visited last month, as we’re away a few times this month (December).
8-Start driving lessons
I’ve come to the conclusion this most likely wont be happening before the year’s out. I want to be able to commit to at least one lesson per week, which at the moment I don’t have time for.
9-Use up what I have before buying more
I wasn’t intending to buy much last month, but…
On Black Friday I ordered myself two Missoma necklaces I wanted as there was a good discount, as well as some bits from The Body Shop.
I also bought myself some Lush Christmas products.
Let me know how you’re getting on with your New Year’s Resolutions.
November and December are so hard to keep up with the every day things that I can’t even imagine attempting to do resolutions! way to go beautY! Keep up the good work! ❤

You’re so right! It’s hard to fit enough sleep in and do all that needs to be done. I always know my diet goes out the window in December🙈😂 So there’s definitely a few resolutions I’ll do badly on xx

It really is! Haha. Anyone who decides to diet in December I give huge kudos to because December is when MY self control flies out the window LOL. Haha no worries! December is the end of the year and the time when resolutions disappear and you prepare for them in January! Decembers like that hall pass lol. ❤

Omg that burger with the cheese and chips looks so good, I want! It’s virtually Impossible to eat healthy over the Christmas period, this time of year was made for food! However at least you are still trying, even if it means one less celebration out of the tin its better than nothing at all! I love sex and the city, I bet you really enjoyed watching it after doing the tour in NYC. How was wagamamas vegan menu? I’m definitely keen to try it! x

I ate a lot of good burgers in November😍 Haha I agree. I try to eat well at home, but it’s a difficult time of year. I don’t want to miss out on all the good food😊 I did! It was so fun to watch it and recognise a lot of the locations☺ I really liked it! Only get the vegan ramen if you like spice as it is quite hot, but it’s really tasty☺ xx

Burgers are delicious! It really is impossible at this time of year, exactly! Why worry about what you’re eating when there’s so much delicious food on offer!! I bet it was so much fun! Ah okay, I’m not so good with spice so maybe nott but I guess it wouldn’t hurt to try! x

It’s good that you keep yourself accountable through these updates. It’s ok to not adhere 100% of the time to all your goals, that’s how life is.
The Wagamama’s vegan stuff looks good. We went to Wagamama in Denmark and we really liked it.
It’s also good that you cooked more at home. We typically do 5 days at home and the weekends out.

I think you’re actually doing quite well. Let’s be honest, most people have forgotten about their New Year’s Resolutions by the end of January. 😉
In regards to eating and sleeping… at the moment I’m constantly hungry. I’m NOT pregnant. I hope the hunger pangs will go away. I’ve already put on a little weight…
Sleeping… don’t get me started on my sleeping pattern…

Haha it’s true. I think most people probably can’t remember what their resolutions were😂 I’m always hungry! I’m just a real foodie. I know, it’s so frustrating to have a weird sleeping pattern. I’m fine for a week or two, then I go back to sleeping really late, tiredness etc x
